Dear Jacob,This is a very promising venture and one that is most needed in our society. Congratulations on your initiative in filling a serious need.I'm really looking forward to watching your program and learning more.Thank you for your work on behalf of a seriously under-served group and their families and friends.
Hi Jacob.I just found your website and it looks great! We don't have a local program like this in my area andI'm outside of your broadcast range, so I really appreciate that you will be making your show available on the web!Goldie
Hey Jacob! Just wanted to say I'm very impressed with you! I hope the show works out!
In some communities there is a fear of the stigma that comes along with therapy. Do you have any ideas how this can be addressed?
Yossef,You bring up a great point. Society as a whole, and certain cultures specifically, associate a level of stigma with mental illness and it's treatment. One of the goals of this show is to reduce the stigma simply by educating people about mental illness. The idea is that a lot of the stigma stems from ignorance and misinformation about mental illness and that is something that we are trying to combat. All the best,-Jacob
