_ Talk Therapy TV has a three part mission that reflects our commitment to behavioral health awareness, treatment, and recovery.

1) Raise public awareness and understanding of mental illnesses and addictions. 
Millions of Americans do not seek out help for their mental illness or addiction because they do not recognize the warning signs of mental illnesses and addictions or they attach a stigma to mental illnesses and addictions.

2) Recognize providers, professionals, and peers in the behavioral health field. 
Individuals that dedicate their lives to the challenging work of helping people with mental illnesses and addictions should be recognized for their part in ensuring the availability of effective treatment that helps individuals live happy and healthy lives. 

3) Celebrate the thousands of individuals that are living in recovery from mental illnesses and addictions. 
Recovery from a mental illness or addiction is an achievement worthy of celebration.  Not only does it strengthen the individuals in recovery, but it also gives hope to others that with treatment; recovery and a better life is a real possibility.
